Hi,

Is this blog still alive?

Anyway, it suddenly occurred to me that one of the spies Moses sent to spy out the land was called Caleb, surely a form of kelev - dog. The three consonants are the same in both the name and the animal.

So the Hebrew spy had the same name as Dog the Bounty-hunter. It makes sense that Moses wouldn't send out file clerks on such a mission but a character named The Dawg!

Do you have any thoughts on this?
